Power Sabbath School - The Broadview SDA Church presents "The Everlasting Gospel: All Existence in the Balance". On Friday, January 18, 2019, 7:15 pm (for teens and adults only) with the multi-media topic, we'll study "Humanity: A Look at Ourselves". Then, on Sabbath morning, January 19th at 9:45 a.m: "Jesus' Message to the 7 Churches", which includes an extended morning lesson study for all ages - infants to adults. Worship Service, at 11:15 am: "God's Grace, Makes No Human Sense". Join us for a special Fellowship Lunch followed by the afternoon session at 2:30 pm -"The Heavens Declare the Glory of God", Part 1 then Part 2 at 3:30 pm. We end with a Q & A panel. 7th Annual Organ Vespers Series - takes place each Sabbath in January, promptly at 4:00pm, at North Shore Seventh-day Adventist Church, 5220 N. California Ave,Chicago, IL 60625.  This is an evangelistic vespers program featuring organ music, which seeks to create an atmosphere accessible to our friends in the community.  The world of sacred classical music simply cannot be explored within the format of a weekly church service.  Renowned guests from the world of organ music are invited.  Past guests have included:  David Schrader, official organist for the CSO, chamber musician, recording artist; Marianne Kim, organist at Moody Bible Institute, former keyboardist at Willow Creek,  prolific composer organ and piano music, recording artist and Dr. John W. W. Scherer, Head organist and Director of Music at 4th Presbyterian Church, Downtown Chicago. This year our artists include: January 12 will feature a piano/organ duo with our very own Tania L. Vargas De Perez and Elias L. Velez; January 19 our guest musician is Dr. Phillip Kloeckner, Principal Organist Chicago Temple and January 27 our guest musician is Mary Pan, Organ Scholar St. James Cathedral.
