Message for 2020 from Illinois Conference President, Ron Aguilera
Ron Aguilera is the President of the Illinois Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Executive Secretary for the Illinois Conference. Over his 33 years of ministry experience, he has been a senior pastor of a large multi-staff church, a pastor of a single church district, an associate pastor, a youth pastor, an academy teacher, an adjunct college teacher, and a Conference Associate Ministerial Director.
Ron has been married to his wife, Lori, for 33 years. He met his wife at Southern Adventist University and they were married in June 1986. Lori is the Associate Superintendent of Education and Special Education Director for the Illinois Conference. They have two married daughters who live in Southern California.
Ron has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Religion from Southern Adventist University and a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Administration from Austin Peay State University. His hobbies include reading, golfing, and traveling. Ron has visited 55 countries around the world, but his greatest delight is spending time with family and sharing the Good News of Jesus with others.
