Secondary Schools

     Broadview Academy
     Hinsdale Adventist Academy:

• Capital improvements include the need to renovate buildings, replace carpeting, roofing, and air conditioning.  Our academies desperately need to continually update technology including computer labs, individual room computer connectivity, and teaching equipment.
• Worthy Student Fund -- There are several worthy student funds already in place to which you can contribute.  Or, you can name a fund in memory or honor of someone special in your life.
• Endowed Chair -- Imagine the benefit to one of our Illinois schools an endowed chair would be -- a guarantee that funding will be available to teach a special class, e.g., Bible or a particular subject in which you have an interest.

Scholarship Funds:

• Academy -- Academic scholarships for students attending either Broadview Academy or Hinsdale Adventist Academy.
• Elementary -- covering students at any Adventist school in Illinois.

Evangelism:

• Each year pastors ask for more funds for evangelism than what the Conference is able to provide. Imagine what can happen in Illinois if the pastors who are willing to conduct public evangelistic meetings receive the funding they need to do so!

Camp Akita:

• Capital Improvements -- Several projects are worthy of your consideration:
   
• Capital Campaign -- Over $1,500,000 is needed to liquidate the current debt incurred to purchase the property and develop Phase I.
• Swimming pool -- an Olympic size pool will provide a safe place for our children to learn how to swim.
• Outdoor Meeting Place for groups as large as 500 or more.
• Additional Cabins -- More cabins are needed to offer a full camping program and to accommodate needs for camp meetings and church retreats.
• RV Spaces -- Putting in RV spaces will help generate some rental income for Camp Akita.
