Diana Lamar, Women's Ministries Director
Women's Ministries strives to minister with affirmation and cultural sensitivity to all women. Its mission is to inspire each woman member to experience God by seeking spiritual renewal through the study of His Word and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and to experience special bonds of friendship through participating in social activities.

Women's Ministries encourages and helps each woman to enlarge her faith by realizing and developing unique talents and spiritual gifts in service for Christ, thus joining with other members in hastening His soon return.

Each leader ministers with love and compassion to the spiritual, physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of all women, men, and children, by seeking to reflect Jesus in her personal areas of influence.

The ultimate goal, in this end-time period of earth's history, is to bring people to Jesus Christ.

A successful Women's Ministries program is best accomplished by members having an understanding of the contribution by women in the Church. Leadership within each congregation must realize that women have specialized needs just as much as men, children, and youth. It should be understood that these needs are often recognized and met by other women. Since the Holy Spirit has given spiritual gifts to humankind, irrespective of gender, the Christian woman should seek to discover her gifts, develop these gifts, and use them for the edification of the Body of Christ. It is only then that the needs of the Church can be fully addressed as everyone works together to fulfill the Great Commission.

We are promoting Carla Gober's "Journey of Joy" Bible studies, available through our Adventist Book Center. Start a women's group now!
