Unedited audio files of the messages from camp meetings are available on the "Touch Every 1 For Jesus" web site. The quality is not sufficient, in some cases, but the files are available at this link.

Space in Camp Akita cabins and lodge guest rooms is very limited. Many enjoy the RV and tent camp sites on Camp Akita's spacious, well-maintained grounds.

This year's theme will be "Rejoicing in Hope". The first meeting will be at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, June 14, with the final meeting on Saturday evening, June 19, at 7:15 p.m.  Please click here to view the weekly schedule.

    Guest speakers:
    Lake.Jud_Southern
    Jud Lake - Evening Speaker - is professor of Preaching and Adventist Studies in the School of Religion at Southern Adventist University where he has taught since 1997. He holds a D.Min. from Reformed TheologicalSeminary and a Th.D. from the University of South Africa, and has written extensively on Ellen White's prophetic ministry.  Presently, he is editor of the website, http://ellenwhiteanswers.org and author of the forthcoming book with Pacific Press, Ellen White Under Fire. He served as a pastor for ten years in the Gulf States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and two years as youth pastor/Bible teacher at Broadview Academy in the Illinois Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.




    Don Livesay has been the Lake Union Conference President since December, 2008. Don has served in the Georgia-Cumberland, Northern California and Oregon Conferences with various leadership duties and most recently served as the Oregon Conference vice president for four years and then as president for seven years before accepting the invitation to join the Lake Union Conference. 

    Beginning his pastoral ministry in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1973, Don then attended the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary on the campus of Andrews University, and completed his M.Div. in 1976.

    Don’s interests include his wife Barbara, family, grandchildren, home, travel, computers, basic construction and repair, furniture construction, auto repair and photographing lighthouses.

    John Lomacang
    will be presenting a brief musical program in the afternoon.  John is a Christian singer and song writer, and an ordained minister. He has written his life story in a book, Abandoned But Not Alone. He currently serves as the senior Pastor for the Thompsonville Seventh-day Adventist Church in Southern Illinois.
